Our History
Unique Services Logistics Transportation, Inc. is a minority woman and locally economic disadvantage enterprise (LEDE) company that serves the elderly, disabled, and underserved populations of our communities.
We began serving passengers in 2009 under the direction of our principal investor and CEO, Ms. Wanda Curry-Shepard. Working initially for faith-based groups to provide transportation to special events, we brand out in December 2017. We branched out to become the company we are today.
Our Team
Unique Services Logistics Transportation, Inc. has a management team with a wealth of experience in passenger transportation. Each team member is trained in:
- First AID/CPR
- Customer Service
- Passenger Safety
- PASS (Defensive/Wheelchair)
Our dispatch center is located in the south of Columbus. It is fully equipped and optimized for routing and communication with drivers and customers at every moment of the day.
Our Fleet
Unique Services Logistics Transportation, Inc. currently has vehicles to transport consumers. Our fleet consists of:
- 16-passenger shuttle vans
- Wheelchair-accessible 8-passenger buses
- Minivans
- Wheelchair vans
- Standard-sized cars
- Executive SUVs
They are also fitted with safety equipment including first aid equipment, fire extinguishers, flares, and biohazard clean-up tools in case of emergencies.
Our Clients
As a provider of lift and non-lift transportation, we meet the needs of healthcare facilities, nursing homes, small businesses, schools, faith-based organizations, and employee transportation by providing an easy and reliable option for transport.
Our Schedule
Our regular hours of operation are from 6 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Sunday. Dispatch operators answer our phones 24 hours a day.
We also have on-call drivers available from 7 AM to 6 AM. We can accommodate a pick-up within the hour of a call.
